“It was a good visit, but the property could use a facelift.”

“The Midway Motel does need some refurbishing and It appears that it is happening slowly. The room was very clean, no complaints there. The Television didn't work and the manager was out of town for the day so nobody could come to fix it. Same thing the next day. When the manager returned, he was at my door ASAP. He was terrific. He was far more savy than I would every be but needed to contaonding to the Remote. So although two days without TV it was fixed.”

“Nice place to stay in the spring. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There's no A/C, but as long as you are expecting that, it's a great place. ”

“The facility was unsafe and unsanitary. There was a clear mouse infestation, and the odor became unbearable. The lack of running water made the property unlivable. I contacted the host multiple times regarding the water issue, but nothing was done.Additionally, the oven did not work, there were no lights on the outside staircase leading to the bedroom, and there was no lock on the door, creating serious safety concerns.”

“I STRONGLY recommend you DO NOT BOOK!!!! We were given an address which did NOT match the description posted online!!!!!! We must have been given a different cabin. I was able to contact the host to check to see if a late check-in was ok. I received a quick response. I tried to reach the host several times after seeing the cabin provided didn’t match the description. There was NO response!! I wanted to settle this offline but did not have any response from the host after several……

“The cabin was private and cozy. Any questions I had before our trip were answered quickly by Tina. I highly recommend this place!”

“Loved the little cabin tucked up overlooking the Mississippi! We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxed all weekend reading and watching movies! Perfect relaxing getaway. The train came by often but was not bad at allwe kind of looked forward to it!”

“All was good . Very nice. Just an overnight for a show at temple theater. It is only about a block from the theater. Communication was prompt. It is a first floor room, just know that there are five outdoor steps to get in. ”
